What Is MAS MN All About?
The MAS MN convention, also known as MN Muslim Con, is expected to draw an estimated 10,000 Muslims from across Minnesota and beyond to the Minneapolis Convention Center. The program includes acclaimed speakers, family-oriented entertainment, and a diverse marketplace.
Convention Program Features
MN Muslim Con’s features begin with a roster of more than 70 speakers. The renowned speakers include Dr. Yasir Qadhi, Imam Suhaib Webb, and Sr. Yasmin Mogahed.
Quran Competition
Participants are invited to take part in a Quran competition. Participants will be judged on both memorization and recitation skills.
Bazaar
More than 100 vendors will offer a wide range of products for shoppers at the bazaar.
Youth and Family Programs
Interactive activities and entertainment are planned for all ages.
Cultural Performances
Special performances will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Muslim community.
MN Muslim Food Festival
A food festival will highlight a diverse range of ethnic and halal foods.
About the Organizer
MAS MN is the Minnesota chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS), which was established in 1993. Over the past two decades, MAS has established chapters across the United States and has evolved into a nationally recognized grassroots movement. MAS MN operates seven Islamic centers in Minnesota. It is also a community organization committed to making Minnesota a better place for all.
